Who
This book is suitable for all Primary 3 to 6 students. It was authored by Samantha Ang, an experienced trainer at Doby Studio.

Why
In order to score well in Chinese language examinations, it is beneficial for students to read good model essays regularly.  As students may find these model essays wordy, Doby Studio has incorporated comics into these model essays to engage their interest.  This is done without compromising the meaning or their application.

What
This book comprises of three sections with model essays drawn in comic form. There are hanyu pinyin and good phrases to help students understand and appreciate the essays.  We have also included students’ contributions of idioms in the book.

How
Parents, teachers and tutors can reinforce their students' learning experience by:
- Going through the good phrases at the end of every essay
- Getting students to re-tell the essay from the comics so that they can build up their story bank
- Encouraging students to compose their own idiom comics and sending us their entries using the Call for Submission template found in this book or by downloading the official entry form from our website.
